My name is Carolyn Johnson. I am a home-based internet marketer and entrepreneur whose primary goal is to help other internet and network marketers build successful businesses on the internet.

I created this blog to provide valuable information, tools, resources and assets that will help you achieve true financial, spiritual and  personal freedom, as well as, empowerment in your life through information I provide on this site.

I have learned valuable strategies from some of the top internet and network marketers on the internet. The information I will be sharing on this blog will help you live life to the fullest and achieve your life purpose. My greatest desire is to help empower you to overcome the woes of the current economy by finding your niche that will allow you to live victoriously and reach your highest potential.

More About Me

I grew up on a farm in a small town in Georgia called Sparta, where the way of life was picking cotton doing a wide range of farm work. I was the second oldest child and oldest girl of seven siblings. I experienced a tragic situation in my life at an early age when I lost my mother at the tender age of four. My father was left to care for four small children ranging from the ages of two to five. Imagine the impact this one event had on my life.

Nevertheless, a time of tragedy is often a time when a true leader steps up to the plate. My mother’s death caused me to assume a leadership role in helping to take care of my two younger sisters. My father re-married when I was age 7 and three other siblings came out of that marriage. Even though I was still a small child myself, I took on the responsibility of cooking, doing laundry, feeding the farm animals, drawing water from the well for household use, and a range of other household chores.

Persistence and Determination

Even with the heavy farm workload, I excelled in school throughout my elementary and high school years, and graduated from high school with top honors. My father informed me and my siblings that since we were all so close in age, he could not afford to send any of us to college. I was distraught about this news because I knew my only way out of Sparta (and the stifling cotton fields) was for me to go to college. There were very few jobs in my hometown, so most of the inhabitants, including my family, were very poor.

I NEVER gave up hope and vowed that someway, somehow, I WOULD go to college. I had no idea how it would happen but I had a strong belief that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with a strong faith, and “where there is a will there is a way.” This proved to be true because, without my knowledge, my school counselor applied to a college in North Carolina, on my behalf, and I received a scholarship to go to college. I was elated – no more cotton fields, no more farm work… a major new opportunity. What a blessing!!

College Dream Fulfilled

Being able to go to college was one of the highest points in my life. My father put me on a bus to go to school because he did not have the financial resources to take me to college. I felt alone and afraid, because I had never been out of the State of Georgia before. Additionally, two days earlier, the college had sent me a letter stating that all of the housing for freshman students had been exhausted; therefore, they could not take me. I wanted to go the college so badly, that I took a chance and went anyway – with a mere $60 to my name.

I had faith, and gambled on the fact that if I went anyway, the college would not send me home …. I was correct. Through this experience, I learned that persistence and determination pays off. This experience taught me a valuable lesson that I have used throughout my life — never give up.

Good, Secure Job?

I graduated with honors after four years of college, married my college sweetheart, and began a successful career with the Federal Government. I spent 36 years in the field of human resources and achieved the level of senior manager. During this 36-year period, I worked in a number of exciting and challenging positions, and my husband and I were blessed to provide a comfortable life for our two children.

My job was secure and afforded a good paycheck and a relatively high standard of living. Therefore, I was never interested in becoming an entrepreneur or to own my own business during that time. My entire focus was to ensure that I had a “secure” job with good benefits and a steady paycheck that would enable me to retire early on my Federal retirement annuity and savings, and then travel the world.

A Shift in Mindset

Five years before I was eligible to retire, I became increasingly weary of constantly fighting grid-locked rush hour traffic, crowded subways, long work hours, stressful work, bad bosses, and backstabbing colleagues and employees. I felt like I was in the “prison” of a never-ending treadmill, which left me stressed out and burned-out.

At the same time I realized that I had not planned very well to secure my future financially, which made me apprehensive about retirement and whether I could financially afford to walk away from the madness of my “secure” government job and step out into the unknown. Ultimately, I became so weary and tired of the “prison” called a job that I decided to retire and walk away – even with an insecure future. 36 years of working for someone else was more than enough.  I wanted to pursue other interests – even though I didn’t know what they were at the time.

Free At Last!!!

During the first year of retirement, I traveled extensively, had the time to work out daily to get my body fit, visited and connected with long lost friends, and otherwise did whatever I wanted to do. Despite this wonderful break, at the end of the year, I was mentally at a place that I wanted to resume some type of income-producing activity to restore monies I had spent during the year and build up my coffers.

Being off for a year gave me a renewed sense of freedom, and retirement had opened my eyes to many new possibilities and opportunities that I never knew existed. Even though my retirement income was adequate to meet my needs, I wanted much more out of life. I wanted to be totally free to: travel the world without worrying about money, give freely to my community and church, spend quality time with family and friends in and out-of- state, and be able to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren.

A Different Path

In other words, I wanted Freedom to “do whatever I wanted to do and go wherever I wanted to go” without worrying about finances. To achieve this goal, I realized that I had to follow a completely different path than I had traveled in the past, which meant that I had to change my life. During this period of searching, a friend introduced me to the concept of network marketing. I immediately began to do research which showed that becoming an home-based entrepreneur in network marketing was one of the best routes to take to achieve my goals.

Approximately a year ago while surfing the internet to find home businesses, I came across an opportunity that immediately sparked my interest. It provided the best education and training in the internet marketing world, along with excellent support and coaching by top producers within the market. Naturally, I was initially skeptical about these claims and I began to do diligent research and found it to be extremely credible and offered an amazing opportunity for me.

Appetite to Learn and Grow

I must admit, learning internet market marketing has not been easy because, for people like me, there is a learning curve.  However,  the outstanding training and education I have received in network and internet marketing, have placed me in an excellent position to FULLY achieve my goal of Complete Freedom. My childhood experiences taught me valuable lessons about  determination and never giving up on my dreams.  These lessons have provided me the confidence to pursue my dream.  There is no doubt that my goal to achieve complete Freedom is Inevitable!

Despite the fact that I had no computer, social media nor marketing experience whatsoever when I started, I have been able to learn and grow in the industry, and make awesome contacts which have been  extremely valuable in providing the leverage I need to change the course of my future.

True Freedom
